TrickyDisco is a Dance and Theatre company set up by Stevie Prickett in 2011. It makes high quality, physical, comic, engaging performance work for a range of non theatre and theatre going audiences. The company likes to create work collaboratively working with a range of dancers, actors, directors, film makers, photographers, musicians, writers, dramaturgs, visual artists and set and costume designers. This work is then often performed in a range of venues from warehouses to shopping centres as well as more traditional theatre settings.

In addition to its performance work TrickyDisco is committed to delivering high quality education and outreach work that places its emphasis on creativity, play, communication and personal development.

Stevie has been working as a freelance performer, choreographer and dance worker since 1994. Originally working in Scotland he choreographed and performed in work for Scottish Dance Theatre and Dundee Rep Theatre. Since leaving Scotland he has worked as a performer and workshop leader for Assault Events since 2000. He moved to Northern Ireland in 2005 and choreographed and performed in work for Tinderbox Theatre Company, Replay Theatre Company, The Lyric Theatre, Maiden Voyage Dance Company, OfftheRails Dance, Queens University Belfast and Kids in Control. He has also worked as a community/education dance worker for Scottish Dance Theatre, ArtsNK - Lincolnshire and is currently Youth Dance Officer for The Roses Theatre - Tewkesbury. In addition he has lectured on undergraduate degree courses for University of Ulster, Queens University Belfast and DeMontfort University. Stevie moved to Cardiff in 2013 and most recently directed a show in a Warehouse at Elsoms Seeds in Lincolshire.
